In the lead-up to Christmas, we set a target of creating and donating 600 eat-on-the-street care packs to help care for the homeless people of Melbourne through our mercy ministry Many Rooms.
We are delighted to say that at City on a Hill Melbourne and Melbourne West, we easily surpassed that target and donated 715 care packs!
That works out to be 2145 nutritious and filling meals that will be making it into the hands of people who are living rough on the street, and equates to about $22,000 in total value!
